Newton Design’s aircraft Door Trainers and Overwing Exit Trainers are fully functional, high fidelity simulations of actual aircraft doors. The Door Trainers match the operational characteristics of the aircraft equipment, and are designed to train cabin crew on the operation of the doors in normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions and emergency conditions.

Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEET’s) provide a complete and versatile aircraft cabin simulation for emergency and abnormal situation training. Each CEET is custom-designed and manufactured to the buyer’s specifications, providing a training system that is tailored precisely to the customer’s training objectives.

Newton Design’s Cabin Service Trainers are designed to provide a high-fidelity cabin environment used for familiarizing cabin crew with aircraft galley equipment, passenger service equipment, and cabin amenities, as well as training the techniques utilized to provide passengers with food/beverage and general customer service.
Innovation & research
Newton Design has utilized our capabilities to support multiple research and testing efforts, including repair of aircraft doors after a breaching event, unmanned aerial systems support, and aircraft cabin safety research. Newton Design is an active participant in the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.
